The INFINITE® CMM is the most accurate articulating arm ROMER has produced and features ROMER's patented infinite rotation, quick-change probes with automatic probe recognition and integrated Wi-Fi, which provides INFINITE portability, while the Stinger CMM arm was designed for applications needing a low cost, portable measurement device for inspection or reverse engineering.
These two arms are equipped with intelligent quick-change probes that can be changed on-the-fly without tools or re-calibration, a carbon fibre body , up to 540 degrees rotation of the arm's principal axes with a unique "ball-track" soft-stop design, a counterbalance that offsets the weight of the arm, mounting that can be direct to table or with a magnetic base as well a compact and lightweight design.
The Romer CMM arms are mainly used for inspection, reverse engineering and digital manufacturing purposes.
