The Zephyr laser sensors were designed to be used on a digital control measurement machine for very complex parts requiring high precision. They are useful for reverse engineering and inspection purposes in various environments. The 3D non-contact scanning + traditional touch-sensing is a unique feature of the all-digital Zephyr laser sensors. The fact that the sensors are CMM-mounted allow for automated inspection of mass production parts.
