The Handyscan Scanning Module for CATIA V5 was developed within the scope of the CAAV5 Software Partner Program of Dassault Systèmes, developer of the world-renowned CATIA V5 CAD software.

The VxScan data acquisition software fully integrates the process of scanning 3D objects with the Handyscan 3D™ laser scanner into CATIA V5. The key is that the acquisition process is fully integrated with post treatment, model re-construction, surfacing and inspection operations to gain efficiency.

The versatility and the accuracy of the Handyscan 3D™ laser scanner combined with the ability to scan directly into CATIA’s environment delivers great benefits to organisations using Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA platform, and that are striving to reduce development time.
