Creaform Announces the Arrival of a New EMEA Vice-President and Launches a New HandyPROBE Line-Up

02 de mayo de 2010

Creaform, leading provider of 3D technology and engineering services, is proud to announce the extension of its flagship product line of optical coordinate measurement solutions! This international launch will take place during the Control International Trade Fair in Stuttgart, Germany, from May 4th to May 7th, 2010, the most important and widely attended trade show in Quality Assurance in the world.

The HandyPROBE high-accuracy, portable, wireless CMM can now be paired with three different C-Track units: the C-Track 380, the C-Track 780 and the C-Track 1480. The three units boast working volumes ranging from 3.8 cubic meters to 14.8 cubic meters, thereby offering options to cover all combinations of measurement requirement and budget! Since it was launched in 2008, the HandyPROBE has made articulated measuring-arm technology obsolete: the HandyPROBE offers higher measurement accuracy in shop-floor conditions, faster and easier measurement, extendable measurement volume, while being a truly portable device. Creaform offers a launch rebate on the entire line-up until December 31st, 2010.

Further, Creaform is pleased that, effective immediately, Mr. Markus Eickhoff will be leading the European team as Vice-President, Sales EMEA. Mr. Eickhoff has worked for 12 years in the industry of 3D measurement, and will bring invaluable expertise to the Creaform sales force. "I am pleased to have the opportunity to introduce the innovative products of Creaform into more countries in Europe," says Mr. Eickhoff. "The German market is one of the most important ones in Europe and I am confident that our customers will honour the commitment of Creaform towards the German market."

Over the course of his career, Mr. Eickhoff has developed strategies, built branch offices to broaden sales activities, and headed technical and commercial operations. A key resource for both the EMEA and sales teams, Mr. Eickhoff will first be involved in developing the market for Creaform in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
