This enhanced support will help to reinforce manufacturers’ automated quality control processes

Creaform, the worldwide leader in portable and automated 3D measurement solutions along with engineering services, announced today that it will now be offering 24/7 support for all of its R-Series automated quality control solutions. This service is in addition to Creaform’s comprehensive 24/5 support for all 3D measurement technologies. The new on-call 24/7 technical support will be available around the globe.

Creaform’s innovative, powerful R-Series product line features two products: the CUBE-R 3D scanning coordinate measuring machine for at-line inspections and the MetraSCAN 3D-R robot-mounted optical scanner. Both solutions help manufacturers that have implemented automated dimensional metrology, such as those in the automotive and aerospace industries, to carry out automated inspections of sheet metal, forging and composite parts as well as other materials, around the clock.

“Creaform is constantly attuned to the ever-evolving needs of the market sectors we serve. Smart factories that have seized the tremendous potential of automation can rely on Creaform’s support to keep their production lines running properly at all times and according to their specific production cycles,” said David Gagné, Division Vice-President After-Sales and Metrology at Creaform. “Clients can rest assured knowing that they will benefit from Creaform’s renowned service to optimize their automated quality control workflows.”
