Creaform, a business unit of AMETEK, Inc. and the worldwide leader in portable 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, announced today the opening of a new service center in Reynosa, Mexico.
This sends a strong message of support and autonomy for the Creaform community in Mexico: Creaform’s expert(s) are on hand to offer a wide range of services, including shipping and local system calibrations for our HandySCAN 3D, HandyPROBE, and MetraSCAN 3D systems.
With this investment, Creaform aims for quicker turnaround times to optimize system performance levels, lower shipping costs, and facilitate the customs process for Creaform’s customers. It will also minimize the occasional shipments of their products to Creaform headquarters in Lévis, Canada. The company’s entire clientele will benefit from optimized handling costs and better control over the RMA process (return merchandise authorization).
