Creaform wins bronze at Industrial Design Excellence Award 2017 by the Industrial Design Society of America

Creaform’s optical CMM solution and 3D scanner win IDEA 2017 award in Commercial & Industrial Products category

Creaform, a worldwide leader in portable and highly accurate 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, announced today that its portable optical CMM solution and 3D scanners, which include the MetraSCAN 3D, C-Track and HandyPROBE Next, won Bronze during the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), a premier international design competition held each year by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).

More than two dozen global design experts weighed in on products covering 20 categories. This year’s awards attracted hundreds of entries from design firms, companies, and universities hailing from 54 countries. The products were judged on their design innovation, user experience, benefits to clients as well as society, and aesthetics.
