Creaform announces Oscar Meza

February 1, 2007

Levis, Canada, February 2, 2007 - The financial 2006 year ended with great results for Creaform, Inc. Selling nearly 200 Handyscan 3D scanners and reaching more that 30 distributors worldwide, Creaform has demonstrated to be a fearsome competitor in its field. The company is quickly becoming the world leader in non-contact digitizing technology.

Former V.P. of Sales Asia-Pacific for FARO Technologies, Inc., the new Vice-President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Mr. Oscar Meza, brought with him over 17 years of experience and knowledge in metrology and 3D laser scanning to Creaform.

Mr. Meza recently stated "I am very honored to be given the opportunity to contribute to the consolidation of Creaform as major worldwide player in the metrology and design markets."

During the course of 2006, Creaform received many international awards and recognitions for its technologically innovative solutions and performance, particularly due to the great success of the first self-positioning handheld laser scanner, the Handyscan 3D. This truly portable and high accuracy laser scanner has revolutionized the digitizing world. Among many other features the Handyscan 3D offers real-time visual surface renditions of the scanned objects, skipping the generation of point clouds to directly output and optimized STL file (polygon mesh).

Mr. Martin Lamontagne, V.P. Operations, and Mr. André Couture, V.P. Finances and Corporate Development, were proud to announce the promotions of Mr. Meza to V.P. Worldwide Sales and Marketing, and Mr. Nicholas Bourque to Regional Manager North American sales.

The year 2007 will see Creaform aiming to improve even more its impressive growth rate, challenge that all its employees worldwide are ready to meet. Among the initiatives being implemented is the expansion of Creaform’s operations worldwide.
