Creaform shows the Handyscan3D at SolidWorks World 2007 User Conference and Exhibit

January 21, 2007

Levis, Canada, January 22, 2007 - From February 4 to February 7, 2007, Creaform will present at SolidWorks World 2007, the Handyscan 3D, the first self-positioning hand-held 3D laser camera. This scanner allows for real time 3D rendering visualization of scanned data. Resulting STL files can then be exported directly in any post-treatment software (CAD/CAM/CAE software solutions).

Creaform, creator and manufacturer of the Handyscan 3D will be at Booth 439, at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA. Come meet our engineers, see a live demonstration of the Handyscan 3D and find out about its scanning capabilities and outstanding qualities.

Known as a technological breakout in the 3D digitizing world, the Handyscan 3D improves and shortens the design cycle. Built with a high-definition camera, a crosshair laser beam, and an ergonomic design, the Handyscan 3D is accurate, extremely versatile, fast and yet easy to use. Its applications include: reverse engineering, design & manufacturing, inspection & measurement, digital mockup & simulations, multimedia, medical applications, as well as art & museum.

The Handyscan 3D will set you "arm free".
